Wednesday Time Trial
Wednesdays, 17:45 for walkers & 18:00 for runners (Summer); 17:30 for walkers & 17:45 for runners (Winter)
Every Wednesday afternoon we host a 5km time trial. This program is run under the watchful eye of Time Trial Volunteers, well schooled in all the arrangements that are part of the time trial. The time trial is timed using the Mobii NFC pods and Mobii timing bands but the volunteers do record manual times as well.
Time Trials start and finish from the Constantia Pre-School at the Constantia Sports Center.

Route Description
Start at Constantia Pre-Primary School at the mark in the parking area before the gate.
There will be two Mobii Timing Pods – Runners (only tap on the way back) & Walkers (Tap In & Out)
Through the gates and down Midhurst Road
Turn Left into Doordrift Road
Turn left in Van Breda Street
Left into Russel Close and turn at the top (there is a feint paint mark of a circle) and back down again
Left into Van Breda Street around the bend
Right into Elizabeth Lane until the road takes a bend
Left into Brink Road
At the top of Brink Road turn left into Van Breda Street (1st time up)
Left again into Elizabeth Lane until the road takes a bend
Left again into Brink Road
At the top of Brink Road turn left into Van Breda Street (2nd time up)
Left again into Elizabeth Lane (this should be your 3rd time into Elizabeth Lane)
Final left into Brink Road – At the end of Brink Road
Turn right into Van Breda Street
Continue around the bend into Hauphtville Circle
Continue to the top and around the bend
At the crossing turn right into Van Breda Street
Continue all the way around and at Stop Street
Turn right into Doordrift Road then
Right into Midhurst Road until the gates of the Pre-school.
